Guest<br>West Coast’s AFLW clash with Collingwood on Tuesday will revert back to its original slot in round six to allow a number of Eagles players to recover from COVID-19.<br> <br>The AFLW had brought the match forward to Tuesday in order to have more fixturing flexibility later in the season.<br> <br>But those plans have now been abandoned after a number of Eagles players entered the AFL health and safety protocols this week.<br> <br>It also forced West Coast’s match against St Kilda on Friday to be postponed.<br> <br>The West Coast v Collingwood match will now be played in round six, as per the original schedule.<br> <br>”In line with the AFLW’s Covid Match Rescheduling Guidelines – which states a team is required to have a minimum 16 primary-listed players and five train-on players available to play – the league received a request from the West Coast Eagles which detailed multiple players from their program were currently in AFL Health and Safety Protocols,” AFL competition boss Laura Kane said.<br> <br>”Working alongside the club today, it has been determined the club would not be able to participate in a match as early as next Tuesday, February 1.”<br>
