auxiliary verb
1. used with another verb to make a question
他の動詞とともに用いて疑問文を作る
Do you speak Japanese? Does she live in London? She didn't come, did she? You want to go with me, don't you?
2. used with ‘not’ to form the negative of main verbs
notとともに用いて否定文を作る
I don't play the piano. She doesn't any sisters. They didn't come. Don't be stupid!
